All Summer Long: Festival summer with our artists

The season is coming to an end, but do not worry, our artists will accompany you through summer:
 
On June 30 and July 03, Mika Kares will perform Oreveso in Norma at the Munich Opera Festival. Furthermore, he will sing concert performances of Adriana Lecouvreur at the Salzburg Festival alongside Anna Netrebko and under the direction of Marco Armiliato: 28./31.07. and 03.08.

Bettina Ranch will sing Mahler's Symphony No 2 on the occasion of the Festival Ljubljana under the baton of Hansjörg Albrecht on July 15, as well as on July 16 at Mahler Musikwochen Toblach.  Also attending to the Salzburg Festival will be Bettina Ranch on July 24 with the SWR Symphony Orchestra and Vocal Ensemble as well as with Marcus Creed at the conductor’s stand. The program includes works by Nono, Rihm and Gesualdo.
On July 23 she will sing a special concert together with Götz Alsmann according to the motto "A Midsummer Night's Dream: Offenbach's Tales" at the Philharmonie Essen.

At the Bayreuth Festival, Andreas Schager will once again sing Parsifal under Semyon Bychkov (30.07, 02./05./15./19./22., and 26. August) and Vincent Wolfsteiner will take on the role of Stolzing in the children's production of Die Meistersinger: 25.07. - 04.08.

Marina Prudenskaya will perform the role of Azucena in the new production of Il trovatore at the Teatro Real de Madrid, led by Maurizio Benini: July 23 and 25

On the occasion of the Castell de Peralada Festival, Guillermo García Calvo will conduct a gala concert with Juan Diego Flórez on 9th of August.

Anna Bonitatibus takes over the title role in Riccardo Broschi‘s Merope within the scope of the Innsbrucker Festwochen: August 07/09/11

On July 17, Scott Hendricks in the title role and David Ostrek as Count Ceprano will appear in Philipp Stölzl's new production Rigoletto at the Bregenz Festival under Enrique Mazzola.

Markus Suihkonen and Scott MacAllister will join the Munich Opera Festival, Suihkonen in the productions La traviata (28.06; 01.07.), Otello with Anja Harteros, Jonas Kaufmann, Gerald Finley and under Kirill Petrenko (12./15.07.), as well as in Barrie Kosky's Agrippina with Sir Ivor Bolton (23./26./28./30.07.). Scott MacAllister will sing the First Jew in Warlikowski's new production Salome under Kirill Petrenko (27.06 .; 02./06./10.07.) and on July 14 Francisco Borgia in Krenek's Karl V.

Marjukka Tepponen and Jussi Myllys are guests at the Savonlinna Opera Festival singing Mozart's Mass in c minor on July 12.
In addition, Jussi Myllys will take on the role of Belmonte/Die Entführung aus dem Serail on these days: 22./24./26. and 27.07.

On the occasion of the MDR Musiksommer, Christoph Gedschold will be on the conductor’s stand of the MDR-Sinfonieorchester on July 06. The programme includes Orff’s Carmina burana , as well as the ouvertures to Tannhäuser and Meistersinger.  

Following his debut at the Washington National Opera as Cavaradossi/Tosca under Speranza Scapucci, Robert Watson is now guesting the Des Moines Metro Opera Summer Festival as Tambourmajor in Wozzeck.

Virpi Räisänen will sing Ligeti's Requiem in a scenic production of the Ruhrtriennale at Jahrhunderthalle Bochum with the Bochumer Symphoniker and chief conductor Steven Sloane: 05./07./08./12./13. and 14.09.

As part of the Ravello Festival, Rúni Brattaberg will sing Hunding in a concert performance of the first act of Die Walküre together with Juraj Valčuha and the Orchestra del Teatro di San Carlo di Napoli.

Moritz Kallenberg will sing Conte Belfiore in Mozart's La finta giardiniera for the first time together with the Orchestra of Les Arts Florissants under the direction of William Christie at the Festival Le Jardins des Voix in Thiré (France).
