Seine Arie im dritten Akt tat Wunder: eine schöne und weitgreifende Stimme, sehr geschmeidig, mit brillanten und mühelosen Spitzentönen (das ist eine Arie, die gefährlicher und virtuoser ist, als sie erscheint) und einer Präsenz auf der Bühne, die es schafft anzurühren und somit den zweiten Applaus seit dem Anfang des Abends hervorrief. french W.A. Il interprète le rôle d’Arbace avec une émotion et une sincérité qui vont droit au coeur. Son air du troisième acte fait merveille: voix belle et ample, très souple, avec des aigus brillants et faciles (c’est un air plus périlleux et virtuose qu’il n’y paraît), et une présence en scène qui parvient enfin à émouvoir, entrainant les deuxièmes applaudissements depuis le début de la soirée.
